Noon: Official Red Kite Launch in Wrigley Square, Millennium Park
You are invited to join in a free Winter Kite Flying Event to kick off the run of Red Kite Round Up and attract attention to autism awareness. Come decorate free red kites in the Chicago Cultural Center's GAR hall, and walk across the street to Wrigley Square in Millennium Park for kite flying. Stay warm with complimentary hot chocolate from Julius Meinl Coffee. We Hope to see you there!
2) Bilingual Presentation by Emily Iland, Author of "Autism A to Z"

Chicago Children's Theatre and The Red Kite Project are hosting a presentation by Emily Iland, bilingual author of "Autism A to Z." Presentation will be offered in both Spanish and English. She will be fielding questions after the presentation.
3) Screening of The Red Kite Documentary by award-winning filmmaker Kerry Shaw Brown

In this feature length documentary, award-winning filmmaker Kerry Shaw Brown spends two years following the efforts of artistic director Jacqueline Russell and Chicago Children's Theatre to create a new theatre initiative for children with autism and their families. See behind the scenes interviews and footage of how The Red Kite Project came to be.
4) Bilingual performances of Red Kite Round Up
